SIGN UP EXPERIENCES

A major highlight each year at Patriot’s Ball is our Sign Up Experience’s (also known as Sign Up Parties). Sign Up Experience’s are parent hosted events or activities based on a variety of interests, hobbies, and themes for adults and/or families. All funds raised from sign ups are donated to Hamilton Elementary.

Whether you host or attend a Sign Up Experience, it’s a wonderful way to help fundraise for the school while having a blast with the Hamilton community.

Sign Up for a Sign Up Party

All Sign Up experiences and their descriptions will be posted on GiveSmart for preview beginning April 1st.  Signing up for an experience can be done the night of at Patriots' Ball. After the event all experiences with space left will be available for purchase on GiveSmart. If the experience is not full, it will remain available for purchase until the day before the event, or a specific date specified by the host. 

Host a Sign up Party

If you are interested in hosting a Sign Up Experience, please click here to add your experience. When adding your experience, make sure to include the date, time, location, price, and a description of the party as well as a catchy title! The deadline to sign up and “Host” an experience is March 22nd. Hosts will be responsible for all costs, communications and execution of the experience.

Important Information

Events or activities can be in the host’s home, a restaurant, or event venue geared specifically for adults-only or families. Make sure to set a limit to the number of guests.

  1. Typical pricing to attend should range anywhere from $25 to $100 per person, depending on the activities. A HAT Committee member will work with you to determine the price experience.

  2. Make sure your communication includes the date, time, location, price, and a description of the party as well as a catchy title!

  3. A list of people who signed up for your experience will be given to you one week after Patriots’ Ball. If the experience is not full, it will remain available for purchase until the day before your event, unless otherwise specified by the host. 

  4. To ensure there is no overlap with other offerings, you can see other experiences when you sign up here.

Donate

Donations of any kind are greatly appreciated and accepted for various uses throughout the event: raffle baskets, live and silent auctions, etc. If you are interested in donating please fill out this form (click here).


Volunteer

This event is only possible with the help of many volunteers and donors at various levels of commitment and areas. If you are interested in volunteering in any capacity (prior to the event, donation solicitation, day of/night of help) please fill out this form (click here). 


Student Auction Art

A beloved Patriots’ Ball tradition is the opportunity to showcase some of the amazing talent of our students, highlighting our best in class Fine Arts Department. YOU can bid on and take home a piece of art created by a classroom, a grade or a talented student. What is Patriots' Ball

Patriots Ball is HAT’s largest signature event which occurs in the Spring. Hamilton Elementary, Fine and Performing Arts School with a mission to inspire lifelong learning, serves more than 480 students from diverse families across Chicago. The proceeds from the Patriots’ Ball directly benefit Hamilton’s academic, arts and wellness programs. This year we will be celebrating the 15th anniversary of the event. 

Each year, HAT’s goal is to create a celebration for Hamilton families, friends and staff. Through this community we come together with a common goal of raising money for our kids, school and their education.
